# Scenario adjustments 

Agriculture, forestry and fishing demand incorporates the following adjustments between the Steady and Shift scenarios: 

 - The Shift scenario assumes lower demand from some agricultural sectors. See [Demand projections](demand_projections.md) for details.
 - Some future technology costs are reduced in the Shift scenario. See [Future technologies](future_technologies.md) for details.
